My husband and I had been looking for the right house for some time when we rode thru Heritage and saw this beautiful stone house that was just completed. Lucky for us they were having an open house. I fell in love the moment I walked inside. My husband knew from the look on my face that this was it. We met Justin and Bethany a few days later. I told Justin at that time that we had been looking for 5 or 6 years for a house but couldn't find one. What I had pictured in my head all these years, Justin brought to life.
The workmanship was outstanding. My husband is a perfectionist and he could not find anything wrong with the house. It was very well built and you can tell there were no corners cut. We also asked Justin to finish off one side of the basement for my "50's ROOM". Which he did and I love it.
Even though we did not work with Justin thru the building of the house, from the time we met him we have had nothing but gratitude and respect for him. He is great to deal with and we would highly recommend him (and have) to anyone who is considering building a house.

We have lived in our new home for two very happy years. When we decided to sell our home of 21 years in Maryland and move to a smaller home, we went on what seemed an endless search! We cannot speak highly enough of J&B Custom Built Homes. We had never been involved in building a custom home before, but working with Justin and Bethany opened our eyes to the quality and flexibility of custom homes vs. "tract" built homes. In the end, our home far exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier.
When we first met with Justin and Bethany we already had house plans. Justin reviewed them and made some excellent modification recommendations. His attention to detail impressed us beyond belief. As we worked our way through the process, Bethany was always available as a resource and sounding board when we were making all the accessory selections.
From the framing to the finished baseboards, Justin does outstanding work. He is a true craftsman. One of our requests was for a screened porch off the kitchen. Justin had never done a screened porch before, let alone one well off the ground. It turned out exactly as we envisioned.
Another testament of Justin's customer service came in the fall of 2007, when it became necessary to have a wheelchair ramp installed. We contacted Justin on a Saturday. Monday morning he was at the house and the job was completed before the end of the day. You cannot ask for better customer service.
In addition to our professional relationship with Justin and Bethany, we're pleased to have established a very nice personal friendship.
